THE BEATLES - TRIO OF AUTOGRAPHS OBTAINED IN NEWQUAY, 1967
The Beatles - trio of autographs to the front of an envelope by John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Each signed in blue ink, without dedication (Lennon signed upside-down). Obtained in-person by a relative of the vendor in 1967 in Newquay, Cornwall, when the Beatles filmed scenes for their TV special musical Magical Mystery Tour during a three-day visit in September 1967. Original obtainee's name to reverse. The envelope has been previously taped over in an effort to preserve the signatures, and we suspect this could be removed, with care. 9.5cm x 14cm.
