19TH CENTURY JAPANESE BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER 日本 明治 铜‘麒麟’香炉

A 19th century Japanese bronze tripod censer with lid. The rhombus-shaped censer decorated with flat everted mouth rim, with fret motif underneath, four panels with dragon, tiger and two kirins (qilins), two Shachi handles raised on tripod legs. The lid is decorated with a seated kirin on top, four pierced teardrop-shaped holes and floral motifs.
