MID 19TH CENTURY SUNDERLAND LUSTREWARE JUG COMMEMORATING THE CRIMEA
A mid 19th century Victorian Sunderland lustre ware jug / ewer. The ewer with pink painted rim & transfer printed black floral design, scene commemorating Crimea to one side, mason's arms to verso, and central verse reads 'Women make Men Love, Love makes them Sad, Sadness makes them Drink, and Drinking sets them Mad'. Unmarked to base.
Measures approx. 23cm tall.
