Knott, Edward. 1630 Charity Mistaken, with the want whereof Catholickes are unjustly charged, for affirming as they do with grief, that Protestancy unrepented destroyes Salvation. This is an extremely scarce tract written by Knott, pseud. Matthew Wilson, provincial of the Society of Jesus. William Chillingworth then responded to this work, and eventually penned 1637 The Religion of Protestants a Safe Way to Salvation, following Knott's response in pamphlet form. 12mo.
