H. Smith booksellers to ffep, otherwise internally very smart with just the odd spot to the fore-edge. A bright first edition of this collection of short stories by Wells, containing seventeen short stories including 'The Sea Raiders', 'Into the Abyss' and 'The Argonauts of the Sky' as well as the titular work, published the same year as his novel The Invisible Man. 8vo.
