TRENCH ART - MID CENTURY ELECTROPLATED TEA SERVICE FROM ARTILLERY SHELLS
Trench art military interest - a vintage mid century four piece tea service formed from reclaimed WWII artillery shells. The lot comprising coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl & cream jug, all on matched tray. Each shell dated between 1938 & 1942, pre & during the Second World War. Ebonised handles, electroplated conical form.
Tray measures approx. 41cm x 23cm, coffee pot measures approx. 17.5cm tall.
