19TH CENTURY WILLIAM IV HALLMARKED SILVER FRUIT BASKET, LONDON

A 19th century William IV London hallmarked silver fruit basket / cake basket with a swing handle. The circular form basket with swing-handle. Each panel chased with flowers and leaves surrounded by a scroll border. The handle is decorated with similar scrolls and flowers. Raised on lobed circular foot. Engraved message to REV J. B. Owen and dated A.D 1836'. Year mark and maker's marks rubbed. Weight approx. 1.15kg.
