Asser & Sherwin, London - A Victorian 19th century Betjemann's coramandel wood, brass mounted and ceramic cameo articulated book slide trough. The book slide having pair of curved top book holders intricately decorated with brass engraved mount of foliate form with central blue ceramic cameo cartouche to centre. Brass plaque to side reading Betjemann's Patent 12045. Central brass plaque for Asser & Sherwin 81 Strand & 69 Oxford St London. Raised on canted plinth base.
Measures approx. 4cm x 40cm x 18cm.
