1920S CHINESE MAHJONG SET SHANGHAI 民国 麻雀套装
A 1920s Mahjong set. The wooden brass-mounted case with carrying handle and sliding front with Chinese characters, opening to reveal five drawers, with bone and bamboo tiles. Along with four spare tiles, a collection of bone scoring sticks, horn Ming pot with four wind discs in bone, four miniature bone dice in a rectangular wooden box with a sliding lid.
Measures approx. 24cm x 16.8cm x 16.5cm.
