AMBROSE HEAL FOR HEAL & SON - LETCHWORTH - EIGHT CIRCA 1905 CHAIRS
Ambrose Heal (1872-1959) for Heal & Son, London - Letchworth - a set of eight early 20th century circa 1905 oak wood & rush seat ladder back chairs, to include two carver chairs. Each with ladder back rests and tapering elbow rests. Rushed seats all raised on straight squared supports united by peripheral stretchers. This set pre dating ivory maker's plaque.
Carver measures approx. 124cm x 59cm x 50cm.
