STAR WARS - RARE ORIGINAL VINYL CAPE FROM A JAWA 'FIRST 12' ACTION FIGURE
Star Wars - an original vinyl cape from the 'holy grail' Star Wars action figure, a 'Vinyl Cape Jawa'. Cape appears generally in excellent condition, with no tears to the arm holes. Some very minor surface marks (not dings) from playwear that would likely easily be removed. Figure not present, cape only. From a genuine childhood collection.
Often credited as the 'holy grail' of Star Wars action figures, 'vinyl cape Jawas' were only released in the initial run of figures in 1977. Due to costing reasons, the vinyl capes were quickly changed for the more commonly found cloth versions. The production window was very small, making these 'first issue' vinyl capes very rare and highly sought after.
