1920S HALLMARKED 9CT GOLD SWISS OPENFACE POCKET WATCH CHAIN & FOB
A 1920s hallmarked 9ct gold 17 jewel Swiss-made Kemp brothers of Bristol open face pocket watch together with 9ct watch chain strung with an 18ct gold cross pendant. The watch with Roman numeral hour markers to the chapter ring and a second dial to 6 o'clock. Inscription to inner case 'Presented to E J Exton on his retirement by his colleagues of the Bristol Postal Telegraphs, 28th Feb 1928.' Hallmarked Chester 1928 Sponsor mark BB. Hallmark to Inner cover and outer case. Ticking at time of cataloguing but not guaranteed to continue to do so. Presented in original case. The chain with hallmark to T bar, 9 375 to links and dog lead clasp. The cross pendant marked 18ct. Weight of watch 88g. Weight of chain and pendant 39.9g.
