Publisher's buckram binding, gilt tooled boards & spine featuring Indian elephants and peacocks, spine discoloured as common with this work, extremities lightly bumped, 1909 gift inscription to ffep, straining to front hinge at half title with binding exposed, odd spot to leaves. Illustrated with twenty coloured tipped in plates with tissueguards; collated & complete, 15th Quatrain with tissueguard loose but present. 4to.
