Phyllis Lewis (1935 - 2010) - 1997 pottery sculpture titled "The Miner and the Pig" by Forest of Dean sculptor Phyllis Lewis. Sculpture raised on a wooden short plinth style base. Measuring approx. 25cm x 23cm x 16cm.
Phyllis Lewis was an Art teacher at JK Rowling's secondary school on the edge of the Forest of Dean, she was the model for Rowling's Professor Sprout character.
