18TH CENTURY GEORGE II HALLMARKED SILVER LIDDED TEA CADDY

A 18th century George II hallmarked silver lidded tea caddy. The baluster shaped tea caddy being decorated with repousse Chinese figurines, pagoda & landscape. The cover having a matching design with a finial in the form of a bird. Later hallmarked lid (possibly a replacement rim). Hallmarked year 1759, London. Sponsors mark for William Shaw II & William Priest. Weight approx. 417g.
