JUNYAO RU-DING BOWL /BRUSH WASHER 鈞窑釉鼓钉盆/笔洗 足內刻《三》字
A junyao ru-ding bosses bowl with shallow rounded sides rising from a flat recessed well, supported on three ruyi-shaped feet emerging from the short circular foot ring, the rim bordered with eighteen evenly-spaced bosses between two narrow raised ridges, with twenty further bosses encircling the base just above the foot ring, applied overall with an rich glaze with characteristic worm-tracks, thinning to a mushroom tone along the raised edges and bosses, the foot incised with the numeral san (three) and washed with a brown glaze where the glaze thickens.
